Vodafone Smart SIM uses our global network to keep this device connected to your phone from a distance or whilst in other countries. Similar to most phones, you need to subscribe to a price plan to connect to our network.

Even when you’re apart, you’re connected

Curve is made smart by the built-in Vodafone Smart SIM and it uses GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Cellular to pinpoint its location. Unlike Bluetooth-only trackers that have limited range, Curve could be far away from your phone and still send updates.​

Find things faster

To find things close by, like your keys or bag, Curve makes it easier using Bluetooth and Beep to Find. You can use these handy finding features when your phone is within Bluetooth range of Curve (approximately 15m). So, if you lose Curve down the back of the sofa, it’ll pinpoint its location to under 5m and you can use the app to make it beep and find it faster.

Personalise your experience

Create your own Zones in the app and Curve will let you know when it leaves or enters them. There’s also 4 different tracking modes to choose from, to match what you track and help save battery life.​

Curve goes the distance with you

Curve’s battery lasts up to 7 days, and it’ll always let you know when it needs charging. There’s loads of ways to use Curve. Keep track of your car, use it as pet tracker for your dog or bag tracker for a trip. It’s small, lightweight and waterproof certified rated IP67.  

IP67 withstands immersion in fresh water to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. Battery life dependant on tracking mode. For land based tracking only.

Bluetooth-only trackers are great for finding things very close by like your keys or TV remote, but they have limited range and most of the time, can’t be too far from your smartphone. Curve uses the Vodafone Smart SIM (also known as the V-Sim by Vodafone) to connect to our global network so even if you’re far away, or take it to another country, it’ll still send updates to your smartphone. Plus, Curve uses 4 different tracking technologies; GPS, Wi-Fi, Cellular and Bluetooth so even if you’re far away, in or outside the home you’ll have a reliable connection to your favourite things.

Curve can help you keep in touch with your favourite things, such as pets, bags and keys. It has not been designed to track people and should only ever be used as advertised.

Curve’s battery lasts for up to 7 days depending on usage and the tracking mode it’s set to.

Performance Mode: battery lasts up to 3 days
Everyday Mode: battery lasts up to 5 days
Power Save Mode: battery lasts up to 7 days

You can see the battery status for your Curve in the Vodafone Smart App (also known as V by Vodafone app).

Curve is rated at IP67, which means it can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.

Using any cellular device on a plane can cause interference, so you should switch Curve off during flights. There is no flight mode.

You can connect up to 20 Curves to your account and view each tracker’s activity in the Vodafone Smart App (also known as V by Vodafone).

Curve’s Quick Alert button is a way for the tracker and app to communicate with each other. When you press the button on the tracker for 3 seconds, it sends a location update to the Vodafone Smart App (also known as V by Vodafone app).

To enable Quick Alerts, just go to Device Settings in your Vodafone Smart App and check the box.

Zones are the virtual boundaries you create around a location of your choice. If Curve enters or leaves this area, you will get a notification. You set up your Zones in the Vodafone Smart App (also known as V by Vodafone app).

Please be aware Zone alerts are not always instant and location information relies on the frequency of your chosen tracking mode, as well as GPS signal and Vodafone network coverage to provide updates.

Curve has 4 different modes to choose from, which can improve the speed of location updates and save battery life.

These modes are: Power Save Mode, Everyday Mode, Performance Mode and Real Time Tracking.

To activate Curve, press the power button for 3 seconds. Download Vodafone Smart App and follow instructions in the app. For existing customers, we’ll link it to your other Vodafone products. If you’re new to Vodafone, follow prompts to set up your account. Select your price plan and follow prompts to personalise your Curve.
